Email invitations to take part in the Consultative Ballot were sent out to members preferred email addresses at 8am on Friday 16 September.

If you have not received the email invitation for the ballot, Please try searching your email account for “SSTA Consultative Ballot on 5% Pay offer for 2022-2023” and check the spam/junk folders as sometime the email can be diverted there. 

We have received several reports from members that the invitation email to take part in the consultative ballot was delivered to their spam/junk folder and that the links contained in the email were not working. If you have experienced this, you can rectify the issue by marking the email as 'not spam' or 'not junk'. You can see how to do this using the relevant link for your email provider.

Hotmail/Outlook.com – Not Spam

If you require another email invitation to be sent to you, please email info@ssta.org.uk with a note of your full name, school, and your SSTA membership number. We will then arrange for an email invitation to be sent to you.
 

Please vote Reject to 5% and Yes for Strike Action

Please note: This ballot is an internal SSTA ballot and any movement to official strike action will only take place following a statutory postal ballot conducted by an approved external organisation. Only members employed by a local authority will be invited to participate in the consultative ballot.
