I would like to invite you a SSTA School Reps Briefing to be held on Wednesday 25 September 5.00-6.00pm.
Many changes to the education system are in the progress stage and these will have a major impact upon secondary teachers. These include the changes to Qualifications Scotland, the Inspectorate, and the examination system (we are expecting a Government announcement this week). The pay deal for 2024-2025 has been settled and the unions are pushing for major changes in workload. I am fully aware that workload is the biggest issue in schools and our recent survey has indicated a few priorities.
An informed school rep or a point of contact is important so that a timely intervention is made. Each school can nominate additional colleagues to attend if they wish. To register a place please complete the registration form
