Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committee
The biennial H+S Reps training day returned on Friday 13th September at the Stirling Court Hotel. Around sixty delegates, from Thurso to Eyemouth attended in person. Presentations included a year in the life of Health and Safety Rep, Heating and Ventilation, and Social Media. Thanks to Joe Keegan and Iain Glennie and for their presentations. Keynote presentations were from Donna Patterson- Harvie of the Neil’s Hugs Foundation on Mental Health support and Chris Lloyd from SSERC on risk assessments.
The committee is planning further twilight TEAMS sessions based on suggestions from the day. These will start with a Guide to Mental Health Support on 5 February at 5pm.
