Tuesday 27 March 2018 The Teachers’ Side negotiators of the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers (SNCT) have today (Tuesday) rejected a pay offer of 2% / 3% from local authorities to Scotland’s teachers. The SSTA has arranged an initial series of professional education courses for teachers that have been funded by the Scottish Union Learning Fund. The Scottish Government provides funding to the STUC to facilitate union learning and these courses have been provided for the benefit of union members.
